This functionality enables the automatic modification or assignment of new overtime pay components if an absence occurs near a workday. This mechanism allows for flexible compensation rules based on whether an employee maintains work continuity.
To configure the renaming (reconversion) mechanism, follow the steps below:
Open the LABOR application configuration.
Navigate to the Automated Procedures tab.
Open the required procedure.
Go to the DAYS OFF AND HOLIDAYS section.
The configuration is available in two main areas of the “DAYS OFF AND HOLIDAYS” section: for work performed on scheduled days off and for work exceeding the schedule on days off. In each area, rules can be defined independently for:
DAYS OFF (e.g., Saturdays or schedule-based days off).
SUNDAYS.
HOLIDAYS.
Variant 1: Work performed on scheduled days off (Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays)
To activate the mechanism, first enable the checkbox: “Reclassification wage components in relation to the occurrence of absence.” Once activated, complete the following fields:

Occurrence of Absence (Before):
List of codes: Select the set of absence types that trigger the rule (e.g., sick leave).
Within [X] days: Manually enter the number of calendar days prior to the overtime during which the system should search for an absence.
Occurrence of Absence (After):
List of codes: Select the set of absence types to be verified after the overtime occurs.
Within [X] days: The number of calendar days after the overtime subject to verification.
Definition of Target Components:
Overtime from 0 to 8 hours: Select the base component (e.g., 022 | Overtime 50%).
Overtime above 8 hours: Select the additional component (e.g., 024 | Overtime 100%).
Calculation Logic in the Schedule
If the system detects an absence within the defined time window (e.g., 7 days before or after the overtime), it applies the following settlement:
For the first 8h: Component 022 only.
Above 8h: The sum of components 022 + 024.
Example: If an employee works 10 hours on a Sunday and the absence condition is met, the system will calculate 10 hours of component 022 and 2 hours of component 024.
